How to Use Ultrasonic Level Sensor發(fā)表時間:2018-04-05 00:00 How to Select Ultrasonic Level Sensor for your liquid level measurement system 1.Influence of the mixer When the there is mixer in the tank, the liquid will have fluctuation and this will impact the ultrasonic level measurement, so to solve this problem, the solution can be lower the mixing spee, set the ultrasonic level meter far from the mixer center, also can install a static tube to avoid the impact from the mixing machine 2.Influence of the Foam: When use Ultrasonic level meter to measure the liquid level, it is common to confront the foam, the foam can be classified to four types: Dry, Wet, Medium, Serious The Dry and Wet type foam can reflect the ultrasonic wave so it is no any impact on ultrasonic level meter, neutral foam will absorb some ultrasonic wave and will weaken the ultrasonic level refelection and cause instability of wave-back; so when the surface has thick foam, the ultrasonic level meter accurac will be impacted seriousl and in some case, you can not get failed measurement; When there is serious and thick foam, we can set a static tube to avoid this problems; 3.Steam and Mist Influence When the liquid temperature is high, the liquid is ver easy to create steam or mist, due to the steam gravity is small, so the steam will vapor to the top of the tank and isolate the sensor and liquid whici weaken the ultrasonic wave reflection. to install a static tube can solve this problem perfetly. 4.Influence of Blind Zone Just like People Eye, the ultrasonic level meter has blind area which you can not see anything if the bojetive it too close to your eyes. MH-A(R) has different blind area with different models, small stroke range has smaller blind zone, and larger range will has larger dead zone, so you should select suitable stoke range for your liquid level measurement system; 5.Influence of Pressure and Temperature Acoustic Wave can not be transmitted in vacuum condition, so ultrasonic level meter can not be used in vacuum application measurement.
